I find this slightly entertaining but also slightly annoying. Ernie's setiments on being staff is quite right so let me break down the rule changes that have happened yet again that we "backdoored"

Map rotation selection: Was a post made by manu that got 3+ pages of debate from you the community that most seemed to like. To finalize it and weed out the troll posts in it it was rebrought up in staff forum by myself and then mizz asked again a week later if the idea was being used or not.

Support classes: This was an idea suggested by Back(yes backs) to change things up in captains and public forums. Now he wanted unlimited support classes and because the vast majority of you just shoot down anything he says and or troll we went to voting and making adjustments that wouldn't be as ridiculous as unlimited but something to change the pace of the game.

All other "adjustments" were made based off of last seasons "loaner program" nonsense that took place that once again was 15+ pages from the community, i.e riley and metal.

So I'm curious to see what exactly we've implemented this season that wasn't something originally brought up by the community to begin with.

Maybe you should go back and re-read the post from Manu. It was a suggestion and on a whole was largely shot down by the community. The day before the season started you drop this on the Captains that its being input. And largely again was shot down by the Captains or said that it was a rushed decision that even your head staff was unclear on or didn't like. I feel this is hastily being put in with no clear answers to how it’s being implemented or official rules even up to follow. If you are planning on using it at least clarify what this format is for us to try to use. Throwing something at us mid day the day before the season without getting feedback from us or clarifying its use is not the best way to go about it.

So no you didn't take into account what the community was saying. And no clarification was ever provided to the community on what exactly was being implemented. You are better than this. You even went on to acknowledge in Captains Forums that you did wait and apologize for its being dropped on us so late. You gave us no time for actual debate on it and how it should be implemented and then never told us what the rules are. No rules edits on site were ever put in place and it was hastily done. I guess I'd expect more from someone posing as a leader of the community.

As a whole I do believe the map rotation rule is a silly idea. Yea, it gets more maps played but what's the point? If your strengths are on EC or KR then you should be able to pick EC or KR as much as you want. That is your home field advantage. If you feel comfortable on any map against a certain squad then you should be able to defer and not have a map choice stripped from you later on.

I understand and respect the initiative and thought that manu put into it. The only reason it's staying is because we're already 2 weeks into the season and it would be dumb to reverse it. Who knows, maybe at the end of the season you guys will warm up to the idea.

I am going to try and get the map editor working on my PC somehow and will try to pump out some map ideas that we could potentially test in the next off-season. Maybe then we could get some more map diversity instead of a rule that forces you into it.

tldr for everyone; Entire community said no to Zeus, Zeus went ahead anyways, even with Infinite stating that he wasn't clear on the rules.

I don't think anyone is asking for you to change it mid season. It's not that the concept is universally bad. It's the way in which it was put in, the lack of clarity, and the lack of being able to discuss it properly.

Just to be clear buddy, None of us ever wanted or asked for Lava Station to be put in. I believe it was a project of mizz's and when the community was getting bored with everything he added it to the server so people could play other things. When it was brought it no one wanted to use it as a map and has never used it as a map. Why now?

Which i'm pretty sure most still aren't powered there because we werent using the map. I don't recall powering anyone in it other than Fausto/Champ/Eric.
