On the site it says 3 games played idc about the formula.. It's the visual of someone seeing 3 games played and xyz stats thinking that person played 3 full games when maybe they only played 15 minutes in each game.. Also people are just notorious stat whores.. SBL was prob the worst but it was a big reason SBL thrived.

Your logic is flawed though.. if a player skips stat pad games and exits the games when his team is comfortably up he's penalized ? Also you want to talk about em4 not starting or whateve like CK doesn't have other players that could play vs weaker squads or after you guys are up 40?

I don't remember this much controversy over the usl rating before either idk

If someone gets the same amount of kills versus the same squad playing half the time, their rating should be higher than mine. (Not factoring KDR)

There's no pleasing everyone. Unless you're a statistician that can write formulas I think this is as good as it's gonna get. Or I can just get rid of ratings and make it say "Good" or "Bad".

Idgaf about the rating system itself.. Idk the formula but obviously the #1 aspect in deterring the best players is the eye test. To me the rating only shows who accumulates the best stats.. It doesn't show if they are breaking the battles open or just getting the clean up kills.. It doesn't show someone holding a 1vs 3 in a choke so the other team has an avandtage etc .. Or a marine that actually blocks / protects the medics.. So many different aspects to the game that the rating system doesn't show.. It's only a small sample size of a players performance.

Ratings never have and never will reflect skill that's a given, not even a point that needs to be made.

So iv dudes should everyone else get a higher rating if they get more kills than you guys did vs sa? Since you played 10v10 and there was more opportunity for kills vs them?

If someone got more kills on SA then yes, including KDR.

Having more players in the game has no factor with this. Does a 7v7 magically make your kills count for more? No.

I guess I am having trouble seeing the 10v10 issue as well. It made sense at first, but CK has just about as many kills as IV, and fewer deaths. It doesnt seem to have made as large of an impact statwise as has been implied. Am I missing something?

So it's being a bitch stating facts about more opportunities for kills but it's not to whine about ratings when the stats aren't as good, got it.
