I was thinking that you can do a maximum of 5 duels per week. After your first 5 duels you will be placed in a tier similar to placements in other games. I'll probably do a traditional bronze, silver, gold tier system based on your win pct or something.

Winning against bronze nets you 1 point, winning against silver nets you 2 points, and winning against gold nets you 3 points. So you have a potential of 15 points per week if you win against all gold players. This is all a rough idea and can be changed later on if we come up with something better.

Placements are a good idea yeah, once you establish tier paramaters.

Would you lose points for losing games too? Would that be a flat rate? Or would you lose more points for losing to bronze than gold?

I'm not sure yet. Should people lose points for losing the duels? I was thinking you should definitely lose points if you no-show. But as far as losing, I'm not sure yet because even losing 1 point as a bronze player would suck.

Maybe you only lose points as gold players in order to make gold hard to maintain?

That'd be cool, i'm just thinking of how comp's work in LoL and OW. So gold could just lose 1 pt losing to silver and 2 losing to bronze or something?

I am a top tier dueler. You nerds that hate me about to be exposed. I dont think players from good squads like losing to me but too bad.
