Well, I guess that gets rid of people sniping rating, and encourages activity. Will there be a limit on matches per week, or something? This model actually favors an active nerd like me, where I can duel most nights.

Pipe down, this thread is for discussing a dueling ladder, which you will be quite low on if you even participate at all. Judging by your forfeit history, I'd say it's a safe bet you'll tuck tail rather than risk losing publicly. You are a scared player, completely caught up in your own image, which ...
You try too hard.
5 a week sounds good, so what are we gonna do when neggy tha god is #1 dueler after the year?

Unrealistic... no chance I would challenge a bronze league dueler like dave, and I'd only participate if these were bo47.

I'd prefer an elo rating system to a fixed point system.

I was thinking that for scheduling, just a date is fine right? no one is going to try and schedule a time before like 8-9pm. I just figure both players can submit their dates and then be on at the usual time inf populates to do the duel.
also if it never ends up getting scheduled but you're both on and a ref/staff member is on to verify the duel then it's fine too. it doesnt have to be scheduled in order for it to be official. BUT, if you no show then you will get a forfeit loss.

the dates are generated based on the week we're in. each week it gets updated with a new set of dates between 2 ranges.
for example this week was put in on 5/11 so it ends on 5/18. the drop down will only let you choose a date between those ranges. but since today is 5/15 you cannot choose a date from before today, obviously.
