You assign it to a key as medic and it drops on the ground when used, anyone then can go over and pick it up and get 20 seconds of movement speed...? does it do anything else?

Have you used a steron in ctf before? As a medic I'd just keep it for myself so nrg regenerates faster and can get more heals in.

So if a team is chasing down the enemy and they kill the medic dropping 2x steron, they can get faster movement speed to chase down the rest of the stragglers? Damn rip

Class Changes:
Artillery Support: Replacing grenader, will receive bouncing GL(reduced damage per bounce), Shotgun and the rocket trooper rocket.
- I don't like this idea. I think Grenadier should stay in and get the bouncy GL but also still keep the regular GL so you can decide which one to use in the right situation. Remove deagle and leave it with Shotgun.
Assault Trooper: Slight increase in range for weapon.
- Wasn't this nerfed because it was too OP? I don't mind it but I think the clip should be reduced by 1 shot.
Spec Ops: Reduced damage in BR, removal of law and grenades. Given 1 haywire grenade(jams energy and weapons for a few seconds) and increase in velocity of throwing knife.
- This class is silly and serves no purpose in USL.
Ripper: Increased fire rate, reduced spread of stream removal of runner gun.
- Runner gun was removed? Or am I reading that wrong.
LMG: Given a reduced version of titan elites flamer to replace incinerator and the machine gunner to replace LMG's default gun(from connor's canyon)
- What purpose does this serve? Does the the incin put a DoT on the enemy? I never saw anything wrong with the LMG gun. It was pretty balanced with the amount of bullets in its clip.
Sniper: Given 80hp again but still same damage on shots.
- This is whatever.
Medic: Able to create and drop 2 sterons(per death) to give to themselves or their marine to increase movement speed to either fall or push in(auto used on pickup).
- I don't think this is something we should introduce to USL. I would take stim packs over sterons. These are going to be abused so hard.

Don't get me wrong I like that we're coming up with changes but I feel like these are knee jerk changes that serve no purpose other than to say we changed something, instead of fixing what was actually wrong in the first place.

Good change staff. But can we up the damage per shot?... like for real. And give snipers PDW and SG also. Let’s do 79 HP per shot.

With sterons, if a medic dies before using the them then they should be lost and not dropped like ammo.

Mecca - they're not created on a medic's death. A medic has two to drop per life. Used upon pickup.
Kaga -- it can go the opposite way potentially. A med can drop a steron for a straggling teammate to get him back to his med faster. I believe sterons are only useable by marines however.
Champ -- I think we could possibly test both (two weeks per?) And poll whether to include sterons, stims, neither, or both)

Why change lmg at all? Seemed fine lol and got used every sb in every map.
Steron is a bad idea champ is right test stim pack before steron m. 1 max out at a time or like you can drop as many as possible with 4 -5 min cool down between drops.
Medic energy should be slowed to the pace of sl medic.
Spec ops class is really bad idea and most feedback has been negative the throwing knife and the burst gun are just a forced ctf class and idea.
It’s very bad we would be better off fixing the old infantry class over this.
To make ripper op and used as much as lmg is currently before the testing, add the ability to fire 2-3 shots while moving after every time you stop to shoot you reset your 2-3 shots
At is close to being viable maybe add another 10% range with one shot less.

The sterons are just a small part of what I think is wrong with the changes.
I think a lot of the problems we face right now could be solved with more fluid map designs. We keep trying to change classes to make them more viable but how about we start looking at changing the same aging maps we've been using for a decade+. Not every class is going to be viable on every map and that's ok. But if we start introducing more close quarters maps into the rotation then those support classes will really shine. This gives you some flexibility to use support classes if you want to without introducing radical changes to existing ones or completely new classes just to try and force people into using them.
Giving the existing support classes more incentive to be used without changing gameplay too much is one of the first steps I would have taken if it were up to me. Give those support classes key items like ammo drops, barricades, etc.. Something that actually qualifies them to be labeled as support. All we're doing now is turning every support class into a straight up combat class. Start at the basics. Work your way up, instead of working from the top down.

Ripper runner gun is useless, remove/reduce the delay between switching from ripper gun to sg/law, right now that delay is huge.

My idea with Steron champ is to open up more gameplay options with mobilty. Everyone focuses on weapon/class design which do minimal to address camping. Mobilty helps aggresive tactics like blindside flanks and pushing chokes. I feel temporary increased mobility will facilitate squads using some different tactics to break open battles (although I recognize this will also be used as a fall mechanism to save deaths also)

LMG with titan elite incin is fine. If LMG is fine why is it played by 2 players out of 80 every season? And those players don't usually play those in competitive games. (Yosh/Easoe)
Ripper, who cares nobody will play it
Blackops character could be fun if not OP, with that and AT we might get some non marine/medic classes in games.

I can see some crazy plays being created by simply having a scout on your team. Sov's wet dream class right there, the ambushes are gonna be no joke.
Also why are the LMG's bullets dark purple now? It's hard enough dodging streams of bullets, why do they gotta be near invisible on some map terrains?

Can we start the season so it ends before christmas? All these nerds vote to skip thanksgiving already even though they log on that sunday anyways.
Starting 11-11 will lead us to a bye week to just come back and play 1 week (assuming no double length season)
Unless we start before 11-4 and have single length season gunna be a few dead weeks in here with 2 forced bye and thats if we get even number of squads.
What did the head staff think about having half the weeks filled with byes or did this not even get discussed?

We had 4 different people play lmg last season, everyone one of my squads has used it every other week at least for a death or two depending on who we play.
