USL is law mania.

That's never going to change. But I do think that Marine will forever be the powerhouse choice for one of the main reasons that do get laws.

Adding laws to several support classes addresses the issue. LMG/ Nader / Sapper.


Sterons will never add any good strategy to USL or solve any of the camping problems.

LMG, a staple class for how many years? is removed for a gimmicky machinegunner class from connor canyon because someone people remembered it being fun?

What does machinegunner do that LMG wasn't (aside from upsetting balance)?
Inferno projector serves what kind of purpose?

Spec Ops is really a USL class? Haywire grenades now , shields added and emp nades added next?

The bouncy GL serves what kind of tactical purpose? The one implemented only has one advantage, more range and can go over orange physics pretty extremely. Why weren't we just buffing the old nader? More 1 hit kills, more range on the blast radius, bigger prox to hit people?

Sniper HP is one of only decent changes, with PDW it at least has a chance close range now. Why not buff snipe damage? I agree no 1-shoting medics, but 70 hp , 75 hp snipes?

If you gonna buff sniper then give med more energy to compensate the lack of trees in usl. Even then that would still be an op sniper which will promote camping, im not going to risk going out in the open and have a high probability of losing a medic every start of a battle.

Unless you played medic in SL playoff you wont know how annoyingly powerful snipers can be when they one shot your medics. If a sniper two shot both medics then the battle is already won no matter how shitty your marines are.

LMG a staple class with less than 5% of the population playing it in an official game.

Bouncy nades WITH original nades to break camps easier with bounces off rocks

LMG with LAW should be added, it's been suggested for 10+ seasons no clue why it still doesn't have it

The new LMG is nice, I like it. It feels like it's actually stronger than marine in terms of firepower, which it should be, if limited to 1 and no LAW.

Giving LMG a sniper rifle sounds like a terrible idea, no wonder it was rejected for 10+ seasons now

Bouncy GL needs some refining. It's proximity is huge! It's exploding even when it doesn't hit the player vehicle, if it lands NEAR the player vehicle it still explodes and has 1-shot me in testing (sometimes it's outer, sometimes it's inner damage, even though it explodes outside of player vehicle)

Sky Wars, Fleet. The real game.

A lot of talking going on so specific dates should be set to test these changes. Dates that a lot of people can attend. Set a poll for people to vote directly after. Too many voices right now imo.

Being able to one shot 25% of a team is not ideal in a league that uses map with very open lines of sights, and the inability to move from cover to cover without being seen. Like kaga said you're just going to promote a more caution playstyle similar to SL, and nobody likes SL here. You mentioned meds getting hit 4-5 times, that's a perfect example of how easy it would be to hit 1 hit kills in this league.

I think Champions logic on map design is the ideal way to help the league, unfortunatley we don't have many people with the capability to design a map who also understands the flow of how this game works. I'm not taking digs at anyone, Hellspawn has been great and has kept and open mind when listening to players as has the staff, I just think the right people haven't stepped up with their input I hear on discord all the time.

The medic class is fine as is, the only thing that needs to be address is the medkit jamming. That never used to happen to me during SOE. I'd even be for a slower recharge rate if people really think medics have it easy. But getting 1 shotted in wide open USL maps is definetly not the balance that's needed here.

If you buff sniper damage it literally has no advantage anywhere aside from in the open. Which on every map aside from KR is very limited. If squads want to camp in the open, by all means do it. It also has the advantage of breaking open camps. Mark the sniper, don't stand in the open and hide behind your marines and you'll pretty much make the class useless.

While sniping has the advantage of 1 shotting medics, it has the disadvantage of being able to be 3 shot by a marine. Lack of pushing power, and pretty useless in small closed fights.

At this point it is virtually unplayable by everyone aside from Backs. Sniper has always been able to 1 shot medics.

Snipers 1 shot kills in leagues like SL, with trees where I could move without giving up my position.

Snipers were never part of MSL/USL originally. I don't remember when Sniper was introduced but it was probably nerfed for a reason. Don't you think?

Let's just give them 100hp shots that way we're all equal.

Cautious playstyle? If I see a sniper I'm going to push him instead of being in a stalemate where he has the potential to get multiple shots off. 3 bullets and he's dead. Sniper is unplayable at this point from a damage standpoint. I'd rather remove the class entirely than leave it at it's current state.

we should introduce mining and creating weapons and then when you get into end game you get access to the most powerful items to craft - would also not be opposed to flying mounts end game

Yeah we don't have trees, but we have physics, a lot more than SL. It may actually be a playable class that everyone ends up using, with the better sniper winning battles. I get that you're a med and probably hate the thought of changing up your playstyle.. but your team can have a sniper too.

Would you really rush a back line sniper and put your medic in a position like that? You acting as if snipers would be some kind of front line class. It sits behind 5 marines shooting at your team and 2 medics. You're not rushing anything. If you're in a position to 1v1 a sniper he's terrtible at positioning and thats not a class thing thats a bad player thing.

Physics dont conceal movement. Not the same.

Listen to this man. Give snipers 85HP shots. I’m fine with 60HP HEALTH BUT GIVE ME 85HP SHOTS AND ILL WIN A USL RING.
