Captains should vote what map they want to run/lead their squad on. So I disagree. The community will play on either regardless. People have been saying captains decide everything, and I'm sure even you said that in the past. It just happens to favor me this time. And like I said, I do believe captains represent their squad, to make it so public it turns into a popularity contest or a big troll campaign thing to get a map put up, when I'm willing to bet if it was just in captains forums and they voted and it was announced publicly without a poll majority of the voters on either side wouldnt even say anything. It's a pretty split vote right now and half the people in the league won't get what they want. So I honestly feel it's the captains that should make the final decision because it seems 50/50

And Havok I don't think anyone is crying, I don't think anyone is even insulting or trolling each other here. We are having a discussion on what map to use on the game we have been playing for so long.

I've always been an advocate for the entire community's say over just the captains.

I'm not being bias voting for Apollo's because he is on my squad, I genuinely like his more.

My squad has indicated that they enjoyed playing on bomb's map, so I voted for that one as did (I believe) most of my squad.

That being said, friends is looking forward to the season and will be ready to play on whatever map we end up using.

Can't tell if Havok is trolling or legitimately dumb.

Apollo not crying ? I've seen at least 3-4 people say they won't play if it's a certain map .. In my book that is crying .. My 3 year old doesn't even do that

A different map is welcome, I don't care if it's Bomb's or Apollo's. If it's going to be Bomb's this season, then we should keep Apollo's up so that we can continue to test it as a possibility for the following season.

Agreed there. Also would be good to use the 12 week season/playoffs to hash this out this coming season so we are ready to go for S5 (specifically testing new potential maps).

I think we should have a secondary map up in another zone for all of Season 4 so squads can test maps like Bomb/Apollo for S5.

It would be great to have a plan laid out prior to S4 playoffs that includes a full plan for off-season so everyone is on the same page.

Not sure why we are doing so much arguing in the first place. Nobody can agree on a map but everybody seems to agree on one thing. " Its only for one season ".

Most of us have been playing this game for many years. Its pretty damn clear we are not leaving it now. So no point in casting threats or malicious words. If this wont get sorted out with the community then the fair things to do is put KR up. Figure out what needs to be done in captains forums during the season.

Doing so when a map is put up it is no longer getting edits and updates to make it playable in the eyes of the community. Youre getting a finished product that will be played on for a season then you make the edits after that.

The only reason I dont want to play on Apollos map is because Apollos map is not finished yet. It needs some work. I would like to give Apollo a season to work on the map and fix it in the eyes of the community then we play on it. I DO NOT want to play on a map rushed to be implemented for league. While Bombs map is finished. It has been played on and people have enjoyed the map while playing on it.



Also! Instead of sitting and bitching about the changes to Bombs and Apollos map why dont you suggest changes for KR and EC. Some of you are so uptight about playing on those two maps yet dont offer suggestions for them. Somebody like myself or another will take the time to edit those maps. So it provides new aspects the next rotation.

Ola, changes were suggested for both KR and EC but nobody seemed interested. Apollo even took the time to do some edits to EC map which was up in the test zone for a month. Nobody even bothered to scrim on it.

It's all good Drift, wasn't trying to be a dick about it was just curious as to why certain people are voting. Would love to see you come back though.

You do realize we just played a full season on the old unedited version of EC right? The EC that was used before had a larger choke point north mid, and a few other smaller changes.

And Ola my map is finished. Literally has one thing left to be done which palm is doing. Still waiting for anyone to post all these bugs that need to be fixed. I don't know what you would expect me to do to that map for a full season while we play on Bombs.

Wish you would stop saying KR, I think if KR was up in the poll it would be losing badly to both maps. "The fair thing". Pretty sure that map is the most unbalanced and unfair map.
